As part of our unit on Communicating Through Technology, I was challenged to create a Kahoot, consisting of 9 questions and answers.

The purpose of the Kahoot was for me to reflect on, and show what I have learnt about Cyber Safe Behaviours.

My quiz has been designed to help challenge the thinking of another primary aged student.

Below is a screen capture of a sample question taken from my Kahoot quiz, Abis cyber safety quiz.

I am proud of this question and set of answers because it says what a digital footprint is. It also tricks you by making it sound like a true statement but it actually is a false statement

I believe this question and set of answers is the most challenging because it looks very easy so people will answer quickly and so they won’t think much, when you have the ‘all of the above’ answer it will look like that is the answer when actually the answer is the circle.

I believe the image linked to question 5 is the most powerful as the people looking at their computer are really shocked about something which, in the kahoots case it is an inappropriate image, it makes the player wonder what they would do after they saw the image.

I found this Kahoot Quiz challenging because it took time to think of questions to put in. It also took time to find photos to match the right question.

This is my reading timely feedback.

Hi everyone I am here for my first post, I am gong to be talking about avatars.

First of all, some of yo are probably wondering ‘what is an avatars’, well an avatar is an animated version of you. It’s not usually exactly the exact same as you but it is usually quite similar like your hair colour would be the same so would your skin colour.

Now that you know what an avatar is yo are still probably wondering why we need an avatar and why cant we just use a photo of us. Well the answer is that if we used a photo us, people could track us down and could even steal money.

The reason why I made my hair brown is because my hair is closer to brown than white and there wasn any blonde-brown colour. The reason why I chose the background to be yellow is because my favourite colour is yellow.

If you were to make an avatar what would be one distinctive feature you would put in first?
